Motion Graphics
Design Brief:
Animate short (<20 sec) videos to promote book titles on social media accounts.
Process:
For these videos I pulled layered artwork files from the book covers to create dynamic animations that matched the mood and energy of the book. Just take a look at the video for You're My Little Cookie Monster and all the chaotic delight it shows as the cookies burst from Cookie Monster’s mouth!
Before making these videos, I had never used After Effects before, more than 50 motion graphics later, I love After Effects! Across my videos I’ve used a variety of advanced techniques like animating 3D objects, motion tracking, and rotoscoping to create engaging motion graphics.
Result:
Creating motion graphics not only diversified social media content, but also gave life to beautiful book covers and other promotional content that would otherwise have remained static.
